School Tours
During March, the Daniel Bagley Elementary school community welcomes prospective parents! Please call 252-5110 to reserve a spot on one of our morning tours.
Harvest Howl
An evening of ghoulish glee and frightening fun is planned for this annual event in October as the PTA launches the first of its Family Fun Nights for the year. The Harvest Howl will celebrate all the fun of the season including a (not-too) haunted house, fall harvest refreshments, crafts, games and more. Come join the fun!
Jogathon
Our annual Jogathon is scheduled for Friday, September 26th. This is a fun, action-packed day with opportunities for parents to meet other Daniel Bagley parents and families, cheer on the runners, and even run a lap or two themselves. It is the first of our PTA in-house fundraisers. Students will be given pledge sheets so they can get support from their family and friends.
Reflections
November is the month for “Reflections,” an art contest sponsored by the National PTA. The program offers students the opportunity to create works of art for recognition and fun. There will be a reception in December to recognize and honor the participants.
Scholastic Book Fairs
The Bagley Scholastic Book Fair is held once a year. In 2009-10 the event will be November 16-19, after school. Additionally, the book fair will be open for evening hours on Tuesday, November 17. The Scholastic Book Fair raises money specifically for our library. We raise $2000-$3000 for library books during each fair. Additionally, Bagley often has book fundraising events at Santoro's Books on Greenwood Avenue. Dates and times vary.
Yearbook
The Daniel Bagley Yearbook comes out at the end of the school year, and includes student portraits along with photos of highlights from throughout the year. Students must have a signed release form on file (either via the FERPA form or the yearbook authorization form) in order to appear in the yearbook.
