Principal's Message

Dear Daniel Bagley Families,

Daniel Bagley is fortunate in that we were able to enroll all of the incoming siblings who wanted to be a part of our school community who are now out of our “attendance area.” Due to our high enrollment for the 2010/2011 school year most of you know that we are adding a new Contemporary Kindergarten. We are in the process of determining how to move classrooms/space around the building in order to accommodate our new addition. We have a committee working on recommendations to give to me. A decision will be made in early June.

One change we will have for next year is in teaching staff. For the 2010/2011 school year Ms. Agather will be moving to teach Contemporary Kindergarten. Ms. Agather has extensive knowledge and expertise in Kindergarten—she taught this grade level for several years before moving to Daniel Bagley. Ms. Agather will be a terrific addition to our Contemporary K/1 team. [more]

Bagley Summer Play Dates: August 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th

In August, the Bagley PTA will be hosting get-togethers on the school playground every Saturday from 10AM – Noon. These play dates are specifically for new and incoming Bagley families, but all are welcome! It would be great for our newly entering families to meet some members of our stellar Bagley community before school starts. There will also be a PTA representative and/or a current Bagley Kindergarten parent hosting each Saturday morning. Come by, have fun, and introduce yourselves and your kids to our new Bagley Bees!

Garden Rejuvenation Project

Thank you all for your wonderful support and efforts supporting the Garden renovation project. We are almost there! To reach our goal of opening the garden for students in September, we still need help with materials and supplies and are asking the neighborhood to help. If you could reach out to even two people or businesses for tax-deductible contributions, we can get it done! Download the Donation Packet and help us spread the word.

Support Our School: 2010 Giving Campaign

Donate to the Giving Campaign any time of the year! Your donation can help alleviate the school budget cuts, allowing the PTA to continue funding field trips, classroom tutors, music instruction, technology, as well as basic school and classroom necessities. Every dollar pledged is tax-deductible and may be eligible for matching contributions from participating employers.
